Mark Fischer
Mark Fischer has served as Chairman of Rawlings and Associates, PLLC for more than two decades. Beginning with the Dow Corning breast implant litigation in the early 90s, Mr. Fischer has represented the nation’s largest health plans in dozens of mass tort cases, including asbestos, Fen-Phen, Vioxx, Avandia, Pradaxa, pelvic mesh, Actos, Yaz, and all-metal hips. Mr. Fischer also represents health plans in suits involving antitrust and fraud claims, such as Aggrenox, Augmentin, Baycol, Cardizem, Lupron, Neurontin, Paxil, Provigil, Rezulin, TriCor, Vytorin, Wellbutrin, Xyrem, Zelnorm, and Zyprexa, among others. Mr. Fischer has represented a well-known national health plan as a member of creditor’s committees in the Purdue, Mallinckrodt, Endo, and Rite Aid opioids bankruptcies. Mr. Fischer received his B.A. from the University of Louisville and his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
Jeff Swann
Jeff Swann served for more than fifteen years as General Counsel of The Rawlings Group, the nation’s largest provider of subrogation and health cost containment services, representing most of the nation’s largest health plans in matters relating to subrogation, coordination of benefits, and other health care payer recovery rights governed by ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, FEHBA and other healthcare laws. He also has more than two decades of experience representing national and regional health plans in mass tort and antitrust cases. Prior to joining Rawlings Mr. Swann served as General Counsel of another subrogation company serving health plans nationwide. Mr. Swann received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
